The Wharton India invited a few film associates to speak about the globalization of mainstream Indian cinema in its 14th Year Meet. Amidst them were a writer, a musician, a screenwriter a CEO and two actors. The list included: Aseem Chabbra, Shankar Mahadevan, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Namit Malhotra and Anil Kapoor-Vidya Balan.
The members spoke about the advantages of international production houses actively participating in India, consistent recognition across film-festivals, positive vibes, a welcome note and more......
The big question amongst the minds of the veteran artists of the film fraternity is - What made Vidya Balan so big after her 'presence' in a few off-beat concept-oriented films. Is it only her presence or has she added a worthy tint to it??
